Shahedi Quarter of Tabriz

The historic Shahedi Quarter is one of the tourist attractions of East Azerbaijan near Tabriz. This building was actually a university with full facilities, including educational buildings, a rest area, a mosque, and a library, which have been destroyed, leaving only its dome remaining. The age of this historic building dates back about 600 years. If you want to see one of the oldest historical monuments of East Azerbaijan up close, you should go to Baghmisheh, a suburb of Tabriz.
