Gohar Tappeh Museum Site
See with your own eyes how humans buried their dead thousands of years ago. The story goes that a long time ago, when urban spaces were not very developed, some people came to mountainous areas and created Gohar Tappeh to bury the bodies of their ancestors in this place.
The Gohar Tappeh Museum is located between valleys and ancient caves, 40 kilometers from the Sari-Behshahr road, and around this ancient area there are green plains and forests. From the Gohar Tappeh museum site, old and valuable items such as stone tools (blades, flakes, and stone mortars), stone necklaces and jewelry, and pottery items have been found.
