Description

Sanbal Rud is the name of one of the largest dams in Mazandaran Province, located eight kilometers from Shirgah. This earth dam, with a crest length of 889 meters, a height of 22.5 meters, and a width of ten meters, stores a large volume of water in its reservoir, which is used for agriculture and fish farming. This area, as a pristine and unique recreational complex, is surrounded by forest covering 40 hectares of the surrounding lands. The welfare and tourism facilities of Sanbal Rud Dam include northern gazebos, restrooms, boating, and a grocery store. We recommend this scenic, safe, and pleasant area as a suitable place for camping in Shirgah.
