The new Nikabad Jarquyeh (Yengabad) castle is located south of Nikabad city and is a remnant of lost artifacts. This castle was built simultaneously with a large icehouse during Karimkhan Zand's era around 1160-1163 AH. This castle had six large watchtowers, five of which remain today, and another tower has been converted into an additional entrance gate. In 1350 AH, a road construction company settled in this castle, unfortunately destroying all internal structures of the castle. The castle's towers are two-storied, with the upper floor used for watching and protecting the city, and the towers contained several houses. Overall, the castle has two streets intersecting each other, forming a plus-shaped layout.
