This peak is one of the beautiful peaks of Gilan province, located in the Alborz mountain range, western part, and in the southeastern area of the historic village of Masuleh. This peak is connected to Laseh Sar peak by the western ridge and to Shah Moalem and Toreshom peaks via the Andareh pass, with heights of 3070 and 2700 meters respectively.
These heights surround the village of Masuleh in a semicircle and are the continuation of the Talesh mountains extending towards the Sefidrud valley.
To climb Asmankuh peak, you must ascend to an altitude of 2760 meters above sea level, which is considered a technical climb and not an easy task. Climbing this peak in winter depends on weather conditions, time management, and team readiness.
