Gaduk Peak, with an elevation of 2800 meters above sea level, is located on the Masuleh ridge, between the two peaks of Asmankuh and Do Khun. This mountain has a pass with very large and beautiful rocks, and crossing this pass will undoubtedly create a memorable hike for any nature-loving mountaineer. The common ascent route to Gaduk Peak is from the forest and the beautiful summer pasture of Khalil Dasht. The ascent route in winter is snow-covered and often accompanied by cold and biting winds, while in summer it is very hot and scorching. The presence of abundant and flowing springs up to Khalil Dasht pasture meets the water needs of mountaineers, but after the pasture, there are no suitable springs, so climbers must store enough water from the earlier springs.
With suitable weather and a prepared team, it is possible to climb from Masuleh to the pasture in three hours and from the pasture to the peak in four hours. However, weather conditions such as wind, rain, and snow in cold seasons, as well as the intense heat in summer, can change this timing.
