Azghand Grand Mosque
This mosque is located in the village of Azghand, a part of Azghand rural district, Shadmehr district, 32 kilometers north of Faizabad city, and is one of the tourist attractions of Faizabad. From this mosque, a valuable iwan remains, dating back to the Ilkhanid and Timurid periods. The original structure of the mosque included an iwan and two eastern and western prayer halls.
The most important feature of this mosque is the subtle change in the alignment of the iwan from the direction of the two side prayer halls towards the Qibla.
