The Amshah Grand Mosque is one of the historical buildings of Sangar. This mosque is located in the village of Amshah, which is a part of Sangar.
The external and architectural features of this building include its length and width of 14 and 4 meters respectively. Also, in front of the building, there is a porch measuring 18.70 meters in length and 4.5 meters in width, supported by 8 wooden columns. Inside the mosque, there are special chambers for women, wooden lattice windows, and seven-band inscriptions by Mohtasham Kashani.
On both sides of the porch, there are royal seats; on the western side, the columns are octagonal brick pilasters.
In the year 1281 AH, Haj Mirza Mahdi restored and renovated the mosque. An old banner in this mosque dates back to 1110 AH, and the Quranic plasterwork, according to research, indicates that this mosque belongs to the Qajar period.
