The shrine of Sultan Mir Ahmad
According to the custodian of the tomb, it is said that this Imamzadeh is the son of Musa al-Mubarraq and the grandson of Imam Muhammad Taqi (AS). The oldest inscription of the building is located on the door opposite the shrine and dates back to 915. Also, on the door of the shrine's portico, the date 933 is inscribed. The tile inscription around the dome dates to 941. This date is also seen on the main door of the shrine, located in its large iwan, and on another door as well. The wooden shrine has a poetic inscription with the date 1241. This building is registered as a historical monument under number 352.
Adjacent to this pilgrimage site is the Sultan Amir Ahmad bathhouse, which is considered one of the most beautiful baths in Iran in terms of architecture, decoration, and use of space. This bathhouse, with an area of 1000 square meters, takes its name from the Imamzadeh Sultan Amir Ahmad (grandson of Imam Jawad (AS)), whose shrine is nearby.
