The Kabood Val Natural History Museum, also known as the Aliabad Katoul Natural History Museum, is located in the Kaboodval forest and started its work in 2003. This museum is considered one of the best attractions in Aliabad Katoul for natural history enthusiasts. The museum houses 6 dioramas displaying various aquatic, terrestrial, wetland, mountainous, and steppe habitats of the province. It also includes two herbarium booths (regional plant samples), two bird booths, one mammal booth, two insect booths, one shell booth, one mineral and fossil booth, and one reptile booth.
