The Ramsar Anthropology Museum started its work in 2010 with the permission of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of the country. This museum, one of the tourist attractions of Ramsar, which belongs to the private sector and a cultural institute, hosts artifacts from Iranian history, culture, and civilization collected over 30 years (from 1981 to 2011).
In a part of this museum, tools and equipment belonging to the indigenous people of the region are displayed. These items mainly belong to the three provinces of Mazandaran, Gilan, and Golestan. The Ramsar Anthropology Museum can be attractive for children to become more familiar with Iranian ethnic groups.
