A few kilometers from the city of Rasht, near Imamzadeh Hashem, you will encounter a location sign named Darnika Forest Park. This park
was formerly known as a place for wood smuggling, and the presence of undesirable individuals made this area considered unsafe.
But now it is known as a beautiful forest park where tourists can travel. Near Darnika Park is Vistan Lake, about 90 kilometers from Rasht.
The construction of this complex began in February 2019 after obtaining the necessary permits. This area has swings, slides, and recreational facilities
suitable for children.
Inside the forest, there are stone steps protected by wooden fences. A little further ahead, there are wooden gazebos
which are suitable places for staying and sheltering from the rain. This complex has 11 gazebos each 24 square meters, and 2
wooden cabins have also been built inside the forest.
More cabins are planned to be built in this area in the future.
So far, four billion tomans have been spent on landscaping this complex. The total estimated cost to complete this complex is over 35 billion tomans.
Soon, many recreational features such as a sled, zip line, and boating will be added. Also, at higher elevations, cabins will be built for patient accommodation.
This beautiful forest park, besides its beautiful river and a small playground for children, is a suitable place for photography and camping.
You can camp near the river at the lower part of Darnika. But if you are interested in seeing the forest and its beauties,
you can take the side road upwards. The road has many rocky parts in the middle but is paved a little further ahead. If you continue on this road, you will reach the village of Kondolat and then other villages. Along the way, there are many beautiful trees and bushes.
There are suitable places for camping along the way for you dear visitors.
