Kharapi Lady Bridge
This bridge is one of the most beautiful and oldest bridges in Bahar County and Hamadan Province, dating back to the late Safavid era and early Qajar era, and is one of the tourist attractions of Bahar city in Hamadan.
This bridge is located in the Lalajin district at the entrance of the Mahajeran village and is built over the seasonal river Qareh Chay. It also connects the villages of Kushkabad, Mahajeran, Rah Hamvar, Raykan Sofla, and Raykan Olya.
It has seven water spans and bases made of river stones and pebbles. The arches are covered with 20x20x5 cm bricks. Its notable features include its considerable length (about 55 meters) and the variety of materials used. According to local residents, the builder and benefactor of this bridge was a charitable woman, which is why it is known as Kharapi Lady Bridge.
