Sarcheshmeh Bridge
This historic bridge was built during the Safavid era but its architecture has similarities to the Ilkhanid period. Geographically, the Sarcheshmeh Bridge is located on the Mardagh River, which flows from the Sahand heights and is situated in a village of the same name. This important and historic bridge has three spans, with the middle span being larger than the side spans. In ancient times, the Sarcheshmeh Bridge served as a communication route between Maragheh, Mianeh, and Shahrood. This bridge, considered one of the important tourist attractions of Maragheh, is built with stones quarried from the Sanjan mine located in the same region.
