Mohammad Hasan Khan Bridge is an old bridge that crosses the Babolrud River in the city of Babol. This bridge is from the Zand period and was built in place of an older bridge. According to the history of Beyhaqi, during the Ghaznavid era there was a wooden bridge at this location, and according to the history of Tabaristan by Ibn Esfandiar, later by the order of Nasir al-Dawla Shah Ghazi (558-536 AH) « gold was poured by the kilo and paddled in the middle and … a bridge of brick and lime was built. »
