Cheshmeh Kileh Bridge Tonekabon

Cheshmeh Kileh Bridge is one of the tourist attractions of Tonekabon, whose construction process started in 1930. This bridge was built by engineers from Germany and Russia and was put into operation in 1932. This bridge, one of the old structures of Iran, was built during the reign of Reza Shah and is one of the most beautiful and strongest historical bridges in the country. The historic Cheshmeh Kileh Bridge is among the tourist attractions of Tonekabon and a symbol of this city. The length of this bridge is 112 meters, its width is about 7 meters, and its height is about 5 meters. The bridge has white pillars that are settled in the water of the Cheshmeh Kileh river.

The corridors through which water passes are so delicately constructed that you cannot find any difference between them. Here, many fish swim against the current to lay eggs upstream. If you stand on the bridge, you can see the fish's effort to pass under the bridge.
