Goshaayesh Spring is one of the tourist attractions of Maragheh in East Azerbaijan Province and is located 14 kilometers southeast of Maragheh, in the Goshaayesh valley. In this area, there is an east-west valley called Goshaayesh valley through which the Mardagh Chay river flows, and two mineral water springs are also located there. One of them emerges from the southern side of the valley, beneath limestone rocks that have formed a small cave. The water volume of this spring is large and flows as a big stream into the river. In other parts of this area, water and gas emerge from the ground, sometimes accompanied by sound. The other spring's water, located in the northern part of the valley, gushes out with pressure and sound from a hole in a limestone rock that extends toward the river. The amount and pressure of the water decrease after each gush and then the gush repeats. The water of these springs is classified as calcium and magnesium bicarbonate type, with a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a slightly pungent taste.
