Description

The Sasanian Chahartaqi is located 9 kilometers northeast of Sarab, on the Taran to Aghmiyun road. This building was originally a fire temple but later became a religious shrine. The most important feature of this building is that it is entirely made of cobblestones. It should be noted that the local people know this building as the Imamzadeh Hasan. The Aghmiyun Chahartaqi was finally added to the list of national monuments of Iran in 1968.
