Golestan Palace, the eternal spring palace of Tehran
Golestan Palace, whose colorful tiles and green courtyard always evoke the feeling of spring, is located near the bazaar and in the historic fabric of Tehran. Golestan Palace consists of several different sections including the Salam Hall, Marble Iwan, Mirror Hall, and the famous Shams-ol-Emareh building.
Historical events held at Golestan Palace include the wedding ceremony of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi with Farah Diba and the Pahlavi coronation ceremony.
