The stone caravanserai at the foot of Kandovan Peak is also one of the sights of Chalus, located 200 meters north of the Kandovan tunnel. This caravanserai is an example of Iran's mountain caravanserais, built during the Safavid era. The historical and cultural significance of the caravanserai at the foot of Kandovan Peak is very high. This caravanserai has a quadrilateral architecture. The domes of this caravanserai have skylights that fully illuminate the interior space. Unfortunately, this building has lost many parts today; however, it still holds great architectural and historical value.
