The post office is the third building added to the Municipality Square in 1931. The building of this office, with the yellow mailbox in front of it, is one of the popular and scenic parts of this square. Most tourists take photos with this building when they come to this square.

The post office building is located on the northern side of Rasht Municipality Square and covers an area of 1930 square meters. This building has 4 floors, and the architecture of the ground and first floors is L-shaped. The second floor includes part of the east side of the building, and the third floor is built with European-style architecture. The European-style is a type of architecture left from the Qajar era. This building also holds a special place among the sights of Rasht.

The First National Library of Iran

The Rasht National Library is located on the west side of Rasht Municipality Square. This library was constructed in 1927, but due to budget shortages, its construction took 7 years and it was inaugurated in 1934.

The architecture of this building is in the style of Eastern European architecture, and whenever you reach Rasht Municipality Square and pass in front of this library, you feel like you have traveled through history. This library is one of the most valuable sights of Rasht for culture and study enthusiasts.
