Qar Niarq Mud Volcano
The reason for naming it Qar Niarq is that in Turkmen language, Qarn means stomach and Yaraq means torn. This mud volcano is known as the torn stomach or the place where the earth's stomach has been split and torn. The Qar Niarq mud volcano has the shape of a ring-shaped elevation (mud volcano cone) with a maximum outer diameter of 700 meters, and there is a depression inside this ring about 10-15 meters deep that used to form the mud volcano lake in the past.
