Mir Fattah Refrigerator is one of the tourist attractions of Malayer and one of Iran's national monuments that was used in the past to store ice. Since the builder's name was Mir Fattah, the icehouse became famous by this name. Mir Fattah icehouse is a domed building in a stepped shape made of brick and stone. The exterior surface of the building is coated with white clay, and the layer beneath it is insulated with bricks inside and outside to absorb less heat. The age of this refrigerator, one of Malayer's attractions, dates back to the Qajar era. At that time, since there was no electricity, these refrigerators were used in various parts of Iran. The thickness of the walls of Mir Fattah refrigerator in Malayer is approximately 92 centimeters. The height of the refrigerator from the surface to the ice storage source is 4 meters, and from the ground level to the dome is 12 meters. Mir Fattah refrigerator in Malayer has two entrances.
