Poonehzar Waterfall Fereydan

Poonehzar Waterfall of Fereydunshahr is considered one of the very beautiful natural attractions of the province, attracting many people from all over the country every year to visit this area. This waterfall is located in a beautiful valley named Poonehzar in the central Zagros heights, and its fresh water is supplied from the melting snow and glaciers of the Zagros heights. The charm of this waterfall is doubled by the moss-covered rock walls, and it has such a beautiful and attractive atmosphere that you can experience true tranquility beside the waterfall for several hours. Poonehzar Waterfall is located after the village of Chaghivart and is about a 30-minute walk from the village. This large and beautiful waterfall has three levels, and the entrance path leads to the top of the waterfall, from where you can, with effort, reach the second level and the bottom of the waterfall (third level). Moreover, the area under the waterfall is very pristine and scenic, and you can even swim in the pool at the base of the waterfall. For this nature trip, it is preferable to bring essential items such as sunscreen, sunglasses, extra clothes, suitable shoes, and so on.
