Lar Plain, Polur Village, Amol

Climbing Mount Damavand is not possible for everyone, but by car, one can go to one of the most beautiful plains of Iran, namely Lar Plain.

After the Environmental Protection Organization took responsibility for protecting the area and its animal species, this area was declared a national park. The presence of the lake behind Lar Dam and the lush nature around it has caused many people to travel to this area on days with favorable weather to enjoy nature and photography.

To reach Lar National Park, you must go to the village of Polur via Haraz Road and then change your route towards Lar Road. Much of the road is unpaved.
