Description

A historical complex in the village of «Furg» in the Darab county is known as the «Narenjestan Castle» or «Narenj Castle». It consists of the remains of a historical castle, an ancient hill belonging to the Sasanian Empire, and remnants of a historic mosque building and a shabestan. Today, only part of the castle building and its entrance gate remain.
