Baba Pir (Sheikh Aba'dnan Qureshi) was once a great religious scholar who introduced the Ja'fari Shia sect to the people of Isfahan, Lorestan, Khuzestan, and…. This scholar had such a strong scientific and religious personality that Sheikh Safi al-Din Ardabili (a mystic and poet of the 8th century AH) came to visit him to learn the lesson of knowledge. During the Safavid era, Shah Tahmasb's wife, out of respect and value for Baba Pir, ordered the construction of Baba Pir's tomb. The truth and falsehood of this is not very clear, but it is said that this tomb had a golden dome which was stolen in the 13th century AH. In any case, this tomb has two two-layered domes, two meters high, made of stone and brick.
