Tomb of Allameh Jalal al-Din Davani, Kazeroon

In the historic village of «Davān» there is a tomb known as the «Tomb of Allameh Jalal al-Din Davani», famous among scholars, scientists, and Quran commentators. It is interesting to know that there are several hypotheses about the actual origin of the tomb building. According to some existing artifacts in the tomb, it seems that the building is older than the year of Allameh Davani's burial; because inside the tomb, there is a gravestone with the date 101 AH inscribed on it, and also due to the similarity of the building's design to the Sasanian era chahartaqis, it is probable that it is one of the structures from the Sasanian period.
