According to historians and archaeologists, the age of this large and magnificent bazaar dates back to the Safavid era. Kashan's traditional bazaar is located near ancient trade routes, indicating it was very prosperous in ancient times. This bazaar has an extensive structure that includes many sections such as Mir Emad Square Mosque, Mir Panj Caravanserai, Zoghaliha, Ghaffarpour, Rabat, Boroujerdiha, Naraqiha, Amin al-Dowleh Timcheh, in the Miyanchal Bazaar, Bakhshi Timcheh, Seyed Agha Timcheh, Sabbagh Timcheh, the upper bazaar water reservoir and Dar Zanjir, Hosseiniyeh Surakh Rismān, the Shoemaker's Mosque, the upper bazaar mosque, and the Tamaqachi Mosque.
