Green Roof and Lahijan Cable Car

Lahijan Green Roof is one of the popular tourist destinations and attractions in Gilan Province. The Green Roof is located at the upper part of Sheytan Mountain. Since this place overlooks the city and sights of Lahijan such as Sheytan Mountain, Lahijan Pool, and the tea plantations on the slopes of Lahijan's mountains, it is called Lahijan Green Roof.

Green Roof Amusement Park

The first place you encounter after entering Lahijan Roof is the amusement park. This amusement park has suitable recreational equipment and alongside it, a cafe and restaurant have also been established.

Ahrar Cable Car

Lahijan Roof is connected to the Taj Khorus peak by the Ahrar cable car from the Green Roof. Ahrar is one of the most famous cable cars in Iran, built and put into operation in 2005. This cable car is equipped with 33 six-person cabins and can transport one thousand tourists per hour.

The length of the Ahrar cable car is 1500 meters and it takes between 10 to 20 minutes to reach the end of the route. On the way up, you can see the Lahijan tea plantations on your right. On your left, there is a very beautiful view of Sheytan Mountain and the city of Lahijan.

Next to the upper station of the cable car, many gazebos have been provided where you can rest and spend time with family and friends.

Attractions near Lahijan Green Roof

Lahijan Pool

It is said that Lahijan Pool was built by order of Shah Abbas Safavi. Next to Lahijan Pool, there is a very beautiful walkway surrounded by recreational and shopping centers.

Sheytan Mountain

Sheytan Mountain is located at the lower part of Lahijan Roof and its waterfall water is supplied from Lahijan Pool.

The Sheytan Mountain waterfall, where taking souvenir photos is very popular, is another tourist attraction of this area. Next to this waterfall, a stairway path has been provided that goes through the lush trees of Sheytan Mountain to its top and to the Green Roof.
