Gunili Terraced Forest of Kalaleh

The terraced forest of Kalaleh is located near the city of Kalaleh and in a village called Gunili, in Golestan Province. This forest is situated between two tall mountains, and its lush environment with flowing waters and numerous springs provides a suitable place for nature lovers. This forest is considered one of the attractions of Kalaleh, and its most interesting feature is the stepped shape of its rock slabs, which is why it is called terraced.
