Description

The Mahdi Qoli Beyg Bathhouse dates back to the Safavid era and was built by Mahdi Qoli Beyg, one of the Khurasan commanders. This bathhouse is located at the end of the Grand Bazaar of Mashhad, next to the Shah Mosque, and is considered one of Mashhad's tourist attractions. Access to it is very easy due to its proximity to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS). The architectural style of this attraction is Iranian-Islamic and close to the style of Isfahani buildings, which captivates visitors. Among the materials used in this bathhouse are lime, stone, tile, glass, sarooj (a traditional mortar), and brick, and with these materials, the bathhouse is divided into seven different sections.

This bathhouse was registered on May 5, 1977, in the list of national monuments of Iran.
