Keshvarieh Bath
Keshvarieh Bath was one of the first public baths in Tehran, built by Mr. Soleiman Saneh. The women's section of this bath was named Keshvarieh Bath after Mr. Saneh's wife, and the men's section is called Soleimanieh. These baths belonged to the religious minorities living in Tehran and were considered the first numbered bath with a city shower. The neighborhood where Keshvarieh Bath is located is called Oudlajan, one of the oldest and most interesting tourist attractions in Tehran. To visit this neighborhood and its baths, you must coordinate with the Tehran Jewish Association, and usually personal visits are not possible. However, you can easily see this old bath with Tehran sightseeing tours.
