Vashmgir Dam

This dam has a main reservoir with an initial design capacity of 60 million cubic meters and three storage sources. The first storage, with a capacity of 18 million cubic meters, was constructed simultaneously with the dam. The second storage, with a capacity of 12 million cubic meters, was built in 1984, and the third storage has a capacity of 6 million cubic meters. The primary purpose of constructing the dam is to regulate and distribute 325 million cubic meters of annual agricultural water for irrigating 25,000 hectares of cultivated land.
