Yam Dam

This water structure is located 30 kilometers southwest of the city of Naqāb and is an earthen dam with a clay core. This project was completed in 1992. The reservoir of this structure, with a capacity of 1.8 million cubic meters, is filled by the Yam River, and the lake surface area is 18.43 hectares. Also, in terms of specifications, this dam has a crest length of 202 meters and a crest width of 6.8 meters, with a height of 19.5 meters. Yam Dam, as one of the tourist spots in the Joveyn region, attracts many nature lovers daily due to its pleasant climate and natural lake environment and is one of the sights of Joveyn.
