Ali Tappeh Cave
Near the Huto and Kamarband caves, there is a cave called Ali Tappeh, whose remains date back to the Paleolithic era (about three million years ago) and eight thousand years before Christ. When visiting Ali Tappeh Cave, remember to be accompanied by a professional caver with full equipment so that the difficult path of the cave does not harm you. Ali Tappeh Cave is one of the sights of Behshahr; it was once a place of human habitation but was destroyed around 9300 years ago during the last Ice Age, and its inhabitants migrated to the surrounding plains.
