Delgosha Grand Mosque is one of the religious attractions of Bandar Abbas, established in the twelfth century AH by Zain al-Abidin Abu al-Qasim Owzi in the Bazaar neighborhood. This mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Hormozgan Province and is considered the most beautiful mosque in southern Iran; because its pulpit and minaret belong to the Zand period.
The Grand Mosque of Bandar Abbas is also called Delgosha because it is located at the Delgosha crossroads. Also, due to its proximity to the Imamzadeh Shah Mohammad Taghi, people call it the Imamzadeh Mosque.
