Sepahsalar Mosque and School
Among the sights of Tehran, there are places that if their history had not been recorded, no one would have believed. For example, Tehran, which is so ancient, still has its first mosque and higher school standing, which these days we know as Sepahsalar Mosque and Sepahsalar School. Of course, it is better to know that this historical attraction is also known after the revolution as the Higher School and Shahid Motahari University.
If you have seen photos of Istanbul mosques (or maybe even seen them up close), you can see that the construction of Sepahsalar Mosque was inspired by these and its construction dates back to the Qajar era.
Apart from the fact that the Sepahsalar complex, with its antiquity, is considered one of the best sights of Tehran, there are about 10,000 antique and lithographed books in this place, and even trying to price these books seems like a joke. So if you are interested in the history and contemporary literature of Iran, definitely visit Sepahsalar.
