Moallem Boulevard, formerly Casino Boulevard, dates back to the reign of Reza Shah Pahlavi, just like Motel Ghoo. It is said that the foundation stone of this boulevard was laid in 1931.
Since there were many casinos at the end of this boulevard at that time, all the people of the area knew it as Casino Boulevard. However, after the Islamic Revolution of 1979, the name Casino Boulevard was changed to Moallem Boulevard.
Moallem Boulevard is located opposite Ramsar Hotel and is considered one of the tourist attractions of Ramsar. This boulevard was registered in the list of Iranian national heritage sites in 1973 and is one of the few streets registered as a national heritage.
