Chitgar Lake, the largest artificial lake in the country
Chitgar Lake, which was later renamed to Martyrs of the Persian Gulf Lake, is the largest artificial lake in Iran and one of Tehran's tourist attractions. However, it is still commonly known as Chitgar and is considered one of Tehran's most important recreational attractions. This lake is located in the northwest of Tehran in District 22. The Chitgar Lake complex has almost turned into a recreational town and offers many facilities for entertainment. It is enjoyable both for friendly gatherings and family groups with children. Boating, aerial ride skating, free-fall slides, sky jumping track, 6D cinema, and horror safari park are among the entertainments you can enjoy around the lake area.
Walking and cycling along the lake is one of the main parts of visiting this recreational complex. Don't miss photography, bird watching, and enjoying live performances.
