Sorkheh Hesar National Park
This part of our country's large and busy capital is home to one of the oldest protected areas in the entire world. In fact, the history of Sorkheh Hesar Park dates back to the Qajar era, when the kings of this dynasty reserved the area as the king's personal hunting ground. The animal species in this park were very diverse at that time and it was one of the best sightseeing places in Tehran for hunting and recreation. Even today, rare species of animals and plants can be found in this area. However, if you are not familiar with the basic principles of nature tourism, you should be more careful when visiting this park because dangerous animals such as vipers can be found in some parts. But if you do not want to venture into the wild nature of the park, you can go to the park's recreational sports village and enjoy sports and activities such as paintball, tennis, foosball, and billiards.
