The Khoda Afarin Bridges are historical attractions of East Azerbaijan located between the regions of "Karabakh" and "Karadagh" at the zero border point between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan. In total, two bridges are seen in this area, whose exact construction dates are unknown; however, experts, by evaluating existing documents and evidence, attribute the age of one bridge to the ancient Iran period and the other to the Safavid era. The Khoda Afarin Bridges are located 100 meters apart and their architecture differs from each other. These bridges are arch-shaped and built at the narrowest part of the Aras River.
One of the Khoda Afarin Bridges is white and made of stone with 11 spans. The other bridge is brick and has 15 spans. The stone bridge is older than the brick one, and many parts of it have currently (year 1403 in the Iranian calendar) disappeared.
