In the third century AH, by the order of Naser al-Haq Abu Muhammad Hasan, known as Hasan Atroosh (one of the titles of Imam Zain al-Abidin), grandson of Hasan ibn Zayd, a mosque was built in the village of Rudbarak, which later became known as the Shrine of the Seven Imams. Although the seven Imams are buried in this shrine, no one at that time remembered the name of any of them.
Inside the shrine, there is an iron pole that separates the tomb of the seven Imams from the other part of the shrine.
There is also a spring at the foot of the shrine whose water is salty and used to cure diseases.
The external features of the Shrine of the Seven Imams are as follows:
No chest, three wooden double doors in three directions: west, east, and north, four sides of the iwan, 22 columns made of Alborz bricks surrounding the shrine, a double metal door at the entrance of the iwan, a wooden column in the middle of the shrine, and the entire roof covered with tiles.
There are also wooden boards in the shrine on which the following phrases are inscribed:
Clouds came and wept bitterly on the grass Life without wine and saffron is not possible
This grass, which today is our viewing place Until when will the grass of our soil be a viewing place?
The wooden door known as Bibi Heybat is installed on the western wall of the shrine and adds great prestige to the Shrine of the Seven Imams. So far, this door has been stolen twice but, by the grace of God, has been returned to its place.
Also, the people of Rudbarak village say: at the foot of the village, there is a hole where if a living creature comes near, it dies due to the abundance of gas.
